How to be a Writer in Five Minutes a Day:Part One

Did you know that you don't need to sit in front of a computer screen all day to be considered a writer? That's right! You can become a writer with just five minutes to spare each day.

"How?" you may ask. It's easy. Here a few tips to get you started.

1. Write a mini song. Examine "Itsy Bitsy Spider". The song is a only a few lines long yet it's memorable and fun! Exercise: Try writing a song about anything-Christmas, puppies, even the weather! Then share your song with a parent or friend or in the comments below. Happy writing!

Update: Here's a mini song I wrote off the top of my head called "School is Cool".

School is cool.
School is cool.
Learning is a treat.
School is cool.
School is cool.
School just can't be beat!

See, "School is Cool" isn't a masterpiece but it is a catchy little tune if I do say so myself!
